Dog owners who use the park say cops are hounding them aboutunleashed dogs, cruising into the park with sirens blaring, demandingto see identification and ticketing owners for dogs on the loose.
In the past couple of weeks, two owners have been handcuffed andcarted off during disputes with officers in the park at Dearborn andWalton, residents say. A 25-year-old woman who could not produceidentification said she was arrested and held in lockup eight hourswhile her fingerprints cleared.
