SA: Speed cameras as precious as life itself
ADELAIDE, Feb 8 AAP - The top 20 locations for speed-camera offences in Adelaide brought in
more than $10 million last financial year but the state government today was making no
apologies.
The most lucrative stretch of road, according to Police Minister Robert Brokenshire, was
one in the Adelaide Hills where 7,588 infringement notices fetched $886,374 in speed-camera
fines in 1997-98.
